International Cooperation
The Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP, founded in 1946, is outstanding among the Brazilian universities due to the academic educational quality offered to its 23,000 students and the competence of the teaching staff - composed of more than 2,000 professors, most of them holding Ph.D. or MA degrees. Furthermore, PUC-SP plays an active part in the study and discussion of the important social problems, assuming and honoring the commitment that a Higher Education Institution must have with society.
Besides offering some of the best graduate and postgraduate courses in Brazil,PUC-SP has been contributing to the improvement of the Elementary Education in our country, training teachers from several areas. PUC-SP also supports important investments in research and runs Continuing Education and Distance Learning Programs, updating a great diversity of professionals.
The International Cooperation area fosters, supports and articulates the inter-institutional relations, aiming the integration and mutual exchange through the development of projects, programs and joined actions.
