Projeto: Webjornalismo cultural - perspectivas de linguagem construídas a partir da semiótica peirceana / Web Cultural Journalism: Language perspectives based on Piercean Semiotic (or. Prof. Drª Lúcia Santaella)
Esta pesquisa pretende averiguar como se inscreve o webjornalismo cultural no contexto atual das novas interações sociais que emergem do ambiente da internet, tendo em vista o hibridismo cultural contemporâneo. Pretende-se ainda observar, a partir de pressupostos teóricos fornecidos pela semiótica peirceana, em que medida o papel preponderante do verbo na imprensa poderia ser redimensionado pelo webjornalismo, face às potencialidades de linguagem dos novos meios. Ao final, será proposto e experimentado um modelo de webjornalismo cultural, a partir de análises de sites nacionais e internacionais.
The objective of this project is to find out how Web Cultural Journalism takes place in the current context of new social interactions that emerge from the internet environment, which is characterized by the cultural contemporary hybridism. More than that, through the theoric concepts given by the Piercean Semiotics, the research will also analyse the ways in which the Web Journalism, determined by the potentialities of the new media's languages, could give other dimensions to the preponderant roles of the verb in the press. By the end of the research, after the analysis of national and international sites, it will be proposed and experimented a Web Cultural Journalism model.
Geane Carvalho Alzamora é jornalista, mestre em Comunicação e Semiótica pela PUC-SP, professora de Semiótica nas habilitações de Jornalismo, Publicidade e Propaganda e Relações Públicas do Departamento de Comunicação Social da PUC-Minas desde 1995 e coordenadora do Laboratório de Projetos Experimentais do mesmo departamento desde 1999. Atuou como crítica de cinema e repórter em editorias de cultura nos jornais "O Tempo" (1996-1997), "Hoje Em Dia" (1994) e "Estado de Minas" (1995), todos de Belo Horizonte.
Geane Carvalho Alzamora is a journalist, with a master's degree in Comunication and Semiotics by Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. A Semiotics teacher in the courses of Journalism, Public Relations and Advertisement and Publicity, given in the Social Comunication Department of Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, since 1995, and coordinator of the Laboratory of Experimental Projects in the same Department, since 1999. She also worked as a reporter and movie critic in the cultural section of the newspapers, " O Tempo" , "Hoje em Dia" e "Estado de Minas", all in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
